Advanced Security opened its offices in Northern Ontario in Timmins, the City of Gold, in 1992 and in 2014 employed over 100 employees.

In 2012, Attawapiskat Enterprises Incorporated saw through the purchase of Advanced Security and since then Advanced Security has expanded services across Northern Ontario including the addition of the Northern Ontario Advanced School of Security and Safety in 2013.

Following discussions with Southern Ontario interests, the need for Investigative Services in Northern Ontario was addressed with the opening of Advanced Security Investigations in 2014.  Advanced Investigative role is towards Corporate Risk, Insurance and Forensic Investigations.

Advanced Security made the acquisition of All Security in the Fall of 2018.  This new expansion allows Advanced Security to offer end to end security systems.

The combination of professional delivery of security and investigative services, regional experience and knowledge, cultural awareness and applications places Advanced Security and Investigative Services in an excellent strategic position for commercial and industrial applications while working with local municipalities, major industry and First Nations on their traditional lands in Northern Ontario.
