As a First-Nations owned company, we believe in the Seventh Generation Model of decision-making. That means we play the long game, and we always consider the long-term implications of our activities. We are deeply invested in our communities and our people, and we carefully consider the impact on our stakeholders and rights-holders when we make business decisions.

Investing in the communities where we work is part of the social contract we have with our communities, stakeholders and rights-holders. Advanced Security is pleased to support projects that create a stronger social fabric in our communities.
We want to make a positive impact on communities wherever we provide our services. We are committed to locally sourcing people and supplies wherever possible, to support the economy, create jobs, and build capacity. Advanced Security also believes in setting an example for other service providers, and contributes to activities that improve local quality of life.
At Advanced Security we recognize that we must also protect and manage risk in our environment. Without a healthy environment, there can be no quality of life over the long term.
As a First Nations-owned company, Advanced Security is committed to honouring the traditional Aboriginal respect for the land, its diversity, and its ability to provide for us all.
Advanced Security promotes and maintains a strict environmental policy to ensure that any operational impacts on the environment are minimized. This includes minimizing waste, recycling products where possible, and purchasing equipment and supplies that reduce negative environmental impacts. We are taking steps to replace paper with digital forms, to maximize fuel efficiency in our vehicle fleet, and to reduce our carbon footprint in our facilities. We also ensure that our personnel are trained to follow any specific environmental management policies that our clients have in place at their sites.
Advanced Security is devoted to protecting the safety, health and overall welfare of our employees and clients.
We believe and enforce the ideal that all workers have a fundamental right to work in a safe and healthy environment. Managing risk to people is just as important as protecting property and other assets; we work hard to make sure that we achieve both of these goals. To this end, all personnel have regular health and safety training, including updates and refresher courses. They have the tools and skills they need to do their jobs professionally and safety, no matter where they find themselves. Advanced Security personnel are also trained in Emergency First Aid and CPR so they can act as first responders in the event that someone is injured.
Depending on the nature of the contract, we are also often charged with protecting our clients’ staff, visitors and the general public. In many cases, our clients require specialized health and safety training (e.g. mine sites and construction projects.) We commit our personnel to extensive on-site orientations to make sure they understand the unique requirements, risks and possible scenarios inherent to each location.
